United StatesLoves - overall good quality; Used it as the freezer when we went camping for 2 weeks in 4 Utah national Parks. Block ice works better than cubes, and we replaced the ice three times, moving the remaining block to the other less exciting cooler. Love the latches, and appreciated the wheels and handle design. Loved the interior size, and divider. Loved the polished look of the exterior. Only thing missing, was somehow, it got scratched on the top when loading and unloading into the pickup. Could be a little tougher on the top? (Sides are fine) Over all, highly recommend, and expect it to last us years and years.
United StatesReceived my cooler after being on a waiting list. I was happy for that. When I received my cooler the rubber gasket was cut to short leaving about 1/2-3/4 inch gap. CS quickly responded and apologized and sent out a new gasket. For an American made company I would expect quality control to have caught this before shipping. Not that it’s a hard gasket to change I just don’t feel like after spending about $400 I should have to take on this task.
United States United StatesI bought this and the “Y” brand wheeled cooler at the same time with the intention of keeping one of them. Kong was much more insulated in the lid and the tires were larger making it easier to roll. The kickstand and bottle opener were a plus for the Kong. Overall, Kong felt like a stronger more durable cooler. The ice retention is crazy. I left it in my car by mistake in the hot sun for 5-6 days. When I realized what I had done I ran out to the car and to my surprise there was still ice inside. Also, this cooler does the “y” brand 4 pound ice pack well. One on the bottom and the other slightly tilted up inside the wheel section inside. Perfect fit. You can even hear the air escaping for a few seconds after the lid is shut with the locks. Absolutely love it.
United StatesI wanted to wait until I used the cooler a few times before I left any review. With the wheels, this cooler full of drinks and ice can be lugged around with 1 hand and easily rolls over rough terrain. I wish I would have bought this thing years ago! I also have a kong 70 and I have no regrets buying either cooler. I did have a hiccup with the first cooler but, the customer service at Kong was extremely pleasant to deal with and got me taken care of ASAP. I am glad I chose a cooler that is Made in USA that also has their customer service right where the cooler is made. Another thing to mention is Kong has very good ice retention. No more spoiled food for me that gets left on top of the ice.
